Prothrombin Complex Concentrates
Prothrombin Complex Concentrates (PCC) is a manufactured plasma protein preparation containing all the essential vitamin K dependent coagulation factors (Factors II, VII, IX and X) and the thrombo-inhibitor proteins C and S; also contains anti-thrombin III and heparin. There are two PCC products currently available in Canada: octaplex® (Octapharma) and Beriplex® P/N (CSL Behring).
